Each of the 10 Manzil entrepreneurs taking this programme come from disadvantaged backgrounds and will receive 100 tokens for each module completed. Earners can use $GETS tokens to either help fund their own lives while they are in the program, “pay it forward” to other students in need, or gift the tokens back to Manzil to help with operational costs. As a “double benefit” the organization receives 50% of your donation in cash when all the entrepreneurs complete their course.

By donating $10 and putting MANZIL LEADERSHIP TRAINING into the notes, you will fund a full entrepreneurship module for one young leader at Manzil. We had launched a management development program for 10 Manzil entrepreneurs with the aim to equip the entrepreneurs with management perspectives and providing them with dynamic leadership skills so that they can effectively lead their growing organizations. Since entrepreneurs are mostly self-taught in managing their businesses, this program aims to provide a solid foundation, and as they apply the management concepts they learn, take their organizations to the next level.

The course is designed and facilitated pro-bono by Sushil Jhangiani and Abhinav Sahai. Sushil is an IIM-Ahmedabad graduate with 30 years of business experience, including 14+ years in coaching and facilitation with C suite across the world. He is also a visiting professor of Marketing at IIM-A. Abhinav is a serial entrepreneur who co-founded two martech organizations – Niswey and Irayo. Mentor to many budding entrepreneurs over the last three years, he is recognized by media platforms like The Telegraph, The Week, Careers360, India Post, etc. Currently, the entrepreneurs are learning in weekly sessions.

In the last months, the project received huge support in the form of 1-1 remote-mentoring by Alumni from Yale University in the US, who connected to Manzil through Yale Alumni Service Corps (YASC). 10 Yale Alumni have gotten involved since April, to help Manzil entrepreneurs thoroughly understand the concept taught in the weekly sessions, apply the concepts to their own contexts, brainstorm with them on program assignments, and overall Coach the Entrepreneur.
